He participated in 2 consecutive Whitbread Around-the-World races, first as bowman in the1985-86 race on Fazer Finland and than as watch captain in the 1989-90 race on UBF. Since 1997, after sailing in various classes, he now sails on classic 6-metres, achieving victory in Worlds, Europeans, Nordics and several nationals. |
