Alastair is involved in Sailcloth and Industrial Textiles since 1981. He has 46 years of keelboat racing experience including offshore races to Fiji as well as coastal races around New Zealand. He also is cruising locally in New Zealand and around the South Pacific Islands.
In 1995 and again in 2000 Alastair was involved in the development and spinnaker cloth supply to the successful Team New Zealand America’s Cup wins. Since 1986 Alastair is an agent for Contender Sailcloth in New Zealand.
