Duncan has a sailing career since 1970 when he won national titles in Scow, Soling, 505 and Flying Dutchman dinghy classes. In 1987 he was the main trimmer on the ‘Stars and Stripes’ that won the America’s Cup. From there Duncan raced and won many cups such as the One Ton Cup (world Champion) on the SY ‘Vibes’, was multiple Commodore’s Cup Winner on ‘Gaucho’ and ‘Pigs in Space’ (Cowes, UK), raced the Admiral’s Cup for the US ‘Pigs in Space’ team and crewed both SY’s ‘Idler and Rambler (RP92).
