Gaëtan joined Contender France in 2015. With a family active in the sailing industry since, he grew up sailing in Brittany. He graduated with a Master of engineering at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles and has an extensive knowledge of the textile industry. Having sailed competitively in the Hobie Cat 16, Melges 24, Open 5.70 and J/80, he has a good experience in One Design Sailing.
Besides that Gaëtan has been working in sail lofts in the USA as well as in Australia. Boats Gaëtan is currently active in are the J/80 and the International Moth Class.
