Since an early age Tom has been a sail fanatic and he still is. In 2015, Tom joined the Contender US Team after a career in the marine insurance industry. Based in Newport RI, Tom has sailed as a professional crew in various regatta’s from Distance Races in the 12 Meter North Americans as well as being part of professional delivery crews for routes on the Pacific and several deliveries all over the East Coast NE.
At present Tom is racing the One Design J-24’s, Shields, J-80’s, J-22’s and PHRF racing J29, J-44, Swan 46, Concordia Custom, W-Class and Kerr 55.
